Vidhyarthi – Library Development Program with Pratham Books
What started as a chance try, led to the setup/up-gradation of libraries in 8 schools in Kolar Dist. Thanks to our individual and corporate donors and with the constant support of Pratham Books, we were able to touch ~336 children with ~670 new, best-quality and well-suited books. All the schools have promised to set-up a lending process where they issue a book to the kids to take home for a certain time (1 week or 15 days) and return it after that.
