Hello Friends, Have you ever experienced a day that starts off well, ends well, remains in your memories and yet, stays close to your heart ? We did, on June-8th-2019.All thanks to the diligent volunteers who made sure everything, right from the “wake-up calls” to the “reached home” messages, was spot on time.Though rain had stormed the place, previous night, Mr. Sun co-operated and remained golden, through the day, for us. Hello Friends, The well-planned day started at 6am on June 24th , Saturday. After a round of co-ordinations and pick-ups, the team met at the Toll at 7am to look forward for the day. Little bit of shuffling and off to breakfast, Prakash introduced everyone and briefed the team. Material was segregated to cars based on the batch. Volunteers were divided into 5 batches and we covered 7 locations where in kids from 32 schools had assembled. Wow, what a day … that started with yawns and ended with a sore head and body ,but filled with surprises, smiles and satisfaction. Some events are meant to become memories and some, experiences 26-June was one such a day for this bubbling team of 26. The enthusiastic bunch met on the dot (7:15am), had breakfast and reached Ramasagara even before they opened for the day. Mr. weather was all co-operative with not much sun and no rain. It was quite cool and windy. After a quick huddle, the enthusiastic young bloods comprising of Akshay, Lavanya, Prasad, Yatish, Rachana, Kiran, Sushmitha (fun group) split to conduct games for the kids while the book-distribution were being setup. What happens when a team of 10, wake up with an united purpose. Yes…they succeed. Leaping over the surprising hurdles thrown at us (a usual “road-rash” – courtesy Bangalore Traffic), we hurried for a quick breakfast and zipped to Ramasagara (120 Kms).
